No. AMD wanted a partnership with Via which would be beneficial in the long term for both company. What VIA did was only beneficial to themselves in the short term. Via has pretty much screwed themselves as long as long term Athlon chipset support is concerned. Via could have ramped the KX133 and KT133 (KZ133) faster if they were not so concerned about taking market share from Intel. They chose not to ramp the KX and KT so they could make a bit more money on Intel's compatible chipset in the short term. That has AMD very upset.

I don't think so. AMD is done with Via, for good.
