Gary, Thank you for the interesting point & figure chart view! I use TC2000 and an "ancient" version of Metastock to do basic technical analysis, plus using some of my own proprietary indicators which I have given famous sumo wrestler names, like "KONISHIKI" OR "Takatoriki" for example..... Sometimes I will also use Candlestick formations like the "hanging man" to indicate possible tops, and trend-lines in conjunction with stochastics, RSI, moving averages and Bollinger Bands to "paint" an interesting "picture" of a stock, index or commodity. I have even been know to use SI's own charting tools for some on the spot analysis. Even with all of the above, and no matter how good the tools a technician uses may be, it is still up to the individual TA "artist" to use them properly to make accurate calls, which is why we can have so many different opinions from people viewing the same charts of course..... The way I perform trend-line analysis is different than the way most people do it, so my opinions may sometimes or often differ from yours.... Yogi
