seriously, though,,,shouldn't this stuff be investigated by WSJ or NYT? they ought to be interested in unfair market practices such as this. the writer is correct that they can change the rules everytime if a situation such as this isn't brought to public scrutiny.

having this discussion on SI doesn't make it public scrutiny. it's just a bunch of nerds talking shop. -g-

Heinz, do you have a comparison of oil prices in Euro versus dollars?

It seems to me that the inflation in Europe must be around 5% to 6% due to the weakness in the Euro and strength in oil prices.

Wonder what was the oil price in Jan 1999 or Jan 2000 and now
