It's no joke (.). I have read the same idea in several places over the last 20 years. I think I first read about the effect of summer vacations in a book by Calcavetti --which I threw out in one of my many attempts to get away from precious metals. I have no hope for a rise in PM's until well into the next Pres's reign and he changes the fate of the US economy. BAY I expect to do well because of it's economics and hopefully does not require a major rise in silver's price. So far I am happy with BAY although I've made a lot more money with Nortel and JDS than with BAY since I bought in. I have been waiting for 20 years and I'm not sure I have 15 more left for PM's to rise again. I realize that there many who see gold and silver going up weekly and that one day they will be right. I will be as surprised as they will be.
