For sure, a real meltown in US equities would help. But we are approaching the fall and this has traditionally been a good time for gold, silver and mining stocks.

The fall is when jewellers replenish their invetories for the holiday season

Add to this the fact that gold and the stocks are extremely oversold and showing signs of exhaustion...

Maybe we get something large this fall. Look how it started in the past years... suddenly and abruptly.
