But information is anti-entropic, so thermodynamics ties it all together, sort of. Of course, the web in general seems like a pretty entropic form of information, but that's another story. Cheers, Dan

When an inventor or theorist has that "aha!" moment, (the light bulb moment) I think an idea is more then mere information. A new way of conceptualizing, for example, may be beyond our ability to reduce it down to data bits.

Ideas are at best information which is of itself anergic. Information is neither matter nor energy.>> Ideas are thoughts. Thoughts orginated from energy within us. I like to look at it this way: When we share these thoughts in the form of ideas we can either share energy in a way which lets these ideas go to freely change and virally spread, or..... ....we can strategically target/position share energy in ways that expects to get something back which we rely on, measure and control. Information is inert energy. How we perceive and present and share it is the real key. Either we can try to control information for a specific purpose/outcome or we can try to free it up in order to really learn and share the timelessness of the next dimension of service - ie. knowledge. I just believe the quality of our lives is based on how we approach others and perceive the world around us - ie. whether we are taking risks; see a limited vs. unlimted world; believe things are dark/scary vs. light/wonderful.
