JQP ? ....hello ?

I do not want to start an "ankle biting" party; but "Q" ? - C'Mon now ?

re:

<< "You like any of the drillers? FLC is the only one I see that still has dramatic upside potential AND is fairly certin to realize that potential in the next year. >>

...think, before you post, or you're going to blow your cover as a pure "cut & paster"....

Comments like that are ONLY acceptable from a thread "newbies" - back to O&G 101 for you "Q" (VBG)!

...C'Mon - do you even have the slightest fundamental undertanding of how the drillers "work", or what drives them ? - have you done any homework on the 97-98 cycle ?

"Q" - read that quote from the EXPLORER magazine article - it said; the E&P's & Major Independant's are spending their cap ex $ on DRILLING DRILLING DRILLING DRILLING DRILLLING....

- got the point yet ?

As rig utilization goes up ( which it us ) dayrates soon follow.

As dayrates soon follow - when contracts expire; , or when new ones come to market for bidding - dayrates rollover to higher levels - which makes all those drillers - oodles & oodles of cash.

PS - MRL is widely known as the most bottomline leveraged in this environment; as far as each $5K increase in dayrates to EPS. - only the valuation here, in reference to this being an entry point can be questioned as to if - its a play.

Got Gold (VBG) ?
