Since when does a financial service refer to the costs of an acquisition as profit sapping? The appropriate measure for ntap's earning statement should be their pro forma results. This isn't the first time I've seen Bloomburg focus on the wrong issue, and I'm beginning to suspect it is intentionally done for purposes of sensationalism. I'm taking a stand for righteousness and removing their bookmark from my browser.
