Well, currently I own a decent couple of stocks - of companies which perhaps never show any profit... but then I buy those shares below book and below cash (and if possible at cash less 2 years committments). Thats the only way to turn up a profit over time when the one or another gets bought out or develops some positive company value.

Gumtech is not amongst them because it trades at an unwarranted premium to net assets.

Interestingly, DZ mentions now that he sold some of his holdings in the past. ...the difference is that BW announced right at the time he is about to close a position, not months later..

in retrospect...as always

Finally I always thought... lol, that a company's prime target is to generate cash and profits... a company is no salvation army, is it?

I must be wrong....
