t2, Your comment is interesting. Having held this stock for several years, I have so noticed it running in spurts and you just can't say when. Like you, I am feeling that we might get this run sometime soon, certainly before the end of the year. We need to break that resistance at 70; it's just a matter of time. One simply has to remain long and strong CSCO.
Best to everyone.
Sueponine.

t2,
Obviously there are those in both camps. I think it will linger for awhile. Even though I have a lot of the stock and have confidence in the company, the psychology of the talking heads constantly coming on financial news shows and saying CSCO is overvalued is keeping a lot of individual investors out of the stock. As far as I am concerned it is their loss. With their float, it takes a lot of buying, or very stubborn sellers to move the price. If the last quarterly report wasn't good enough to move the price out of the range, I don't know what it's going to take. Maybe the Fed will make a definitive move to indicate their done tinkering. I hope so.knc

Anybody else also think that CSCO is about to rocket to the upside ...

I think we'll see this current doldrums for a couple of more months at least.

Again, just my opinion. Not based on any great analysis, just a decade of observing.

Cheers, PW.
