I bought some more today, with this one I set my
bid low several days ago and made it GTC. I don't know
how to time a stock like RGR. I do know I want it as
cheap as I can get it "before" it goes EX on the dividend.
------------
I don't have inside info but I wouldn't be surprised
if she Upped the dividend this go. I do know their business
is good and they have recently had to hire extra help to keep up with orders.
-------------------
What most people don't realize with this stock, is over the
years she has paid over $14.20 worth of dividends( since
92 ) That's why some of the long term holders have never
sold, heck she has paid back their original investment in cash several times over.
While all the political rhetoric has run some people off
Ruger don't make cheap Saturday Night specials, and
and it hasn't hurt their business.
There will always be a demand for quality and as long as
Ruger stays with making only high quality guns the
anti gun pundits won't hurt her.
This is not a Mo Mo stock that's for sure, but I do
like the dividend.
