I use the Writers and Publishers Guide, and the Writer's MArket, but I think the best thing is to find a mag that it really fits (you have to read several issues of the mag to get a good feel) and hope. The Writer's Market gives good basic rules for format and cover and query letters. It's the part of writing I hate. I would kill for an agent. Where are all the agents. Don't they invest? DOn't they read DAR? We need one- or two or three. There are lots of writers here. We need help.
