(I'm very pleased with my own wacky life and have no need of forgiveness) Actually your life sounds no different from many of the wonderful people I know here and in real life who have great joy and who do great good. It's just that most of them don't feel the need to be quite so publicly self-congratulatory about it. By the way, were we supposed to be impressed with the resumé of the rocket scientist? That certainly seemed gratuitous info to me. BUt if it made you feel bigger and better and happier, then that's ok--we forgive you for your little show of ego.>> I forgive myself everyday. This doesn't mean I'm angry or depressed, but I could be. It just means that I "let go." As for the rocket scientist, it's funny how people need these labels/definitions/markers to feel comfortable. I threw that in for comfort, not ego. I agree with you about the group on this board - fun, open, intelligent, happy, etc. I just don't agree with the uptightness and negativity that gets thrown around - even if I may be the object/reason for all of it. I'll gladly accept the mantle of jerk and whatever else sounds good, humbly so. The color on painted faced clowns does wash away easily as long as there's a liberal dose of water applied with sponges. Peace. .
