Greg, >Does anyone have a handle on how many people are going on-line per day and the numbers servers vs. POP graphed over two years to date? How, about the expected infra outlays to build out the net?

One statistic I've seen that seems to keep hanging in there is the increase in the number of hosts connected to the Internet. It keeps doubling every year (if not a double, somewhere from 1.6 to 2.0 times per year). A host is a PC, handheld, server, more or less anything with an IP address. So, I guess you could say that everything scales up with hosts, except storage, which probably goes up faster than anything.
