Appreciate your post and clarification re source. I'm not technically 'a Democrat.' However, my 'ancestry' certainly was in category to support Democratic party vs. Republican. I find it amazing how the 'influence' from one's family political 'ties' affects the descendents. Libertarian party? I've received several PMs here from people who believe that's the 'answer.' I'm sure I'd go for it, but it's FUTILE. Seems to me. Not enough votes or party members now. ANYTHING would be better, seems to me, than what the U.S. 'official political parties' serve up every four years. You gotta deal with what's FEASIBLE. Midwest understanding tech revolution: Ha. Of course not. Although, I don't think in 'midwest geographical' terms as much as 'global DEMOGRAPHIC' terms. Age; local 'morals'; 'standards'; etc. No wonder the great plains people are hesitant to invest in the tech future. Too much 'tradition' (i.e. parents, etc) don't LIKE the availability of information ... scared shitless that the 'dirty laundry' of family from 'way back 'will be exposed.' LOL. Have any of you seen 'Ed TV?' We're (on these boards) a lot like it ... those of us exposed in Cyberspace, seems to me. Thank 'god' we're not on TV a.k.a. Big Brother. I find this as well pretty fascinating. People are willing to let the national public 'delve into' their deepest psyches ... FOR A HALF-MILLION BUCKS. And, here we are, doing it FOR FREE ... for ourselves ... in order to share valuable info with each other to help ourselves avoid the need to conform ... to make our own money. No TV cameras ... or demonization/castration for 'not fitting in.' Wow, we live in a strange, new world. b-i-a ###
