The plot thickens at CCCX...

Yesterday, in response to a Form 3 filing, someone on RB posted:

Is this the same Leon Nibarger that was convicted for securities fraud? Inmate # 252270. Washington Department of Criminal Corrections. ragingbull.altavista.com

This prompted Leon Nibarger to join RB and respond:

I just received a call from my good friend, Karl Jacobs regarding the postings about me and members of my family on this chat line. Let me first say this: I am not an officer, Director or Control person in Centre Capital Corporation or any of its subsidiaries. I own a graphic art company, and I am a distributor in Vista Internatural Products. I own 4,000 shares of CCCX, and got it the same way most of you did, I bought it. When the decision was made to go public, I sold to other shareholders, or I gifted the small amount of Vista Internatural Products restricted stock I owned to my Adult children. I do not get involved in their business decisions or personal lives. Gifted means it is theirs to do with and vote as they see fit. It is irrevocably given to them.

About 23 years ago, when I was a very young man, I was charged, in the State of Washington, with certain Securities violations along with several other securities salesman. I was ordered to pay $25,000 and serve 30 days in a county jail, which I did. Since that time, my criminal career has netted a total of three or four traffic tickets. I did not fight the order at the time for two reasons. What I did, I considered, at the time, smart and aggressive business. It did not involve illegal offerings, as suggested. Going through my actions with the District attorney convinced me I was wrong, so I accepted the consequences, met the terms and received a deferred sentence. All record is supposed to be gone according to the terms of settlement.

Let me tell you about Steven Nibarger. He is my Son...

As for the person posting this information. Iam quite sure that I know who you are and what you are. You were at one time a very good and trusted friend of mine, until you chose to rob your partners. I have just one thing to say to you, and those you are putting up to this personal attack of half-truths and lies...

I'm not sure if I'm splitting hairs here, but would a "founder" of Vista Internatural be on par with "an officer, Director or Control person"? Because, according to Vista's web site:

...company founders will be speaking too – Karl Jacobs, Cathy Jacobs, Leon Nibarger, Dianne Nibarger, Mike Hicks, Leah Hicks, Dr. Forrest Watson –... richardsmall.com

Note that Steve, Leon's son, is not mentioned. Yet, according to InsiderTrader.com, Steve is a Director of CCCX and owns (at least) 300,000 shares. Coincidence? Did he buy those as well? insidertrader.com

Odd that dad, a founder of Vista, would have to buy his shares. Even stranger, why would anyone, let alone a former broker, sell their shares before a company goes public?

Just another day on the BBs... :)
