What's a $110 million worth in the new economy? In silicon valley people will pay that for a small pack of peanuts!
>Smith said Living.com's failure would not have an adverse affect on Amazon's future financial performance because it had already recognized most of the losses.

In its second-quarter financial statement issued last month, Amazon logged about $110 million in losses from its investments in other companies, reflecting that many of those firms were losing money and would continue to do so.

Glenn, Living.com is filing Chapter 7. What will happen to the $145 million that AMZN was
suppose to get over 5 years?

It will never be seen as is true with all the other Amazon network deals. Keep in mind this is high margin money;-)

Glenn, Living.com is filing Chapter 7.

I forgot what chapter 7 is. Is that different from chapter 11 bankruptcy - or is 11 for individuals?

The bummer is I need some nice new furniture and nobody (furniture.com, living, ihome.com, decor.com etc.) is having a blowout giveaway sale.
