Ray- Reportedly WCOM put their fixed wireless access plans on hold while the FON merger talks were on. Since they are officially called off, I'm thinking their recent filing with the FCC means they are going ahead with their access plans. I hope so. Nothing like competition to keep access upgrades rolling. IMVHO, like ATT, they have to attack the ILECs too.

As an aside, I wonder if anyone has the stats on how many of the 200,000,000 North American twisted copper pairs are ILEC revenue loops? -MikeM(From Florida)
