TLC, No reason to apologize. My problem is I am a bubblehead and I can empathize with any that are. We all face the hooded black guy when we go out. We always hope that surfaces equal dives ( in the log book), but we also know regardless of what country we are from that this may not be true. Hazard of the job. But if it is going to happen and your number is up I just think quick is good. When the T went down on sea trials, they flooded in the engine room (probably through the main shaft) but it was fatal. Everyone on the boat fought to stop the flooding, but when they could not it was over quickly. The thought of sitting on the bottom and knowing you are toast (believe me they do) , and knowing there is not a damn thing they can do about it. Sad deal. Jeff Roberts
