For the sake of consistency I hope none of those "many" people benefited from socialistic educational programs like the GI
Bill.


The GI bill is effectively compensation for military service. In one sense any compensation for any government job could be considered socialistic because it is a government job but that is a big stretch and I don't think it would be a fair characterization. Another benefit to the GI bill over the public school systems is that you don't have to go to a state run school. If government has to pay for something I'd rather see it run like the GI bill then having the government have to provide everything directly.
