And yet the producing nations are certainly aware of the strides being made in alternative fuels... I see no reason they would not take full advantage of higher prices knowing that they won't last forever. Forget about them feeling all sorry about higher prices and bending forever. Won't happen IMO.

heinz, i am driving a toyota gas and electric hybred that toyota has lent me for a couple of weeks. it is very cool. 70 miles to the gallon and very peppy. I would now consider buying a car like this if they make a full size sedan,which i think they are trying to gauge the demand for a product like this, regards john
