Scrapps --

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't own ADI (wish I did), but am playing the sector via VRTA and EFNT. ADI would round that out pretty well so I may just take a position.

I'll watch for H&Q's report tomorrow. After hearing the conference call you know there'll be a slew of upgrades.

Pat

More on that "big deal" rumor floating around.

I forget who asked the Q during the cc, but the mystery customer is a "tier one" handset player, the product in question is the Othello chipset, the anticipated first year run-rate is $75 million, and "they" were discussed by ADI two Q's ago as the "early adopter" working with ADI on prototype issues. The announcement delay is "political" in nature, so it's just a matter of weeks.

I checked my old notes but can't find any reference to who it is. Anyone have a guess?

According to Jerry, there are "three or four" other major players looking at Othello, which is in final prototype, early mass production right now. Expectations are high for this baby to be a significant revenue producer.
