Dealer: I just heard the Portfolio manager of the PIMCO Innovation Fund talk on CNN's Financial Channel....He manages about $6 Billion in tech investments and has the #2 Tech Fund in performance for the last 5 years. He was asked about QCOM and said it is NOT the same company as last year (not in the dominant position people had hoped it would be in) and his Fund is totally out of it. He said he would sell it (and take a tax loss if necessary) and move on to better places. He really likes BEAS, CSCO, JDSU, JNPR, NT, ORCL, SCMR....That was just his opinion he stated. He claims that when his Fund goes into a position they like to see positive results within a few months but sometimes they hold stocks for more than a year and a half.

I only have 1 of his holdings (JNPR) and currently have most of my money in the new fiber optics pioneer AVCI. Of course I am NOT managing almost $6 Billion in assets....wouldn't it be nice to have to figure out where to effectively invest all of that money ...;-)

Best Regards,

Scott
