Now I know that this has already been posted, however I thought it was worth repeating since some may have missed it.

Re-posting news that has already been dismissed as out-dated seems more like a pathetic attempt at spam... dick...

Richard, real PC133 machines are slower than chipset benchmarks.

Systems that consumers purchase are shipped with the high latency PC133 parts.

Chipset benchmarks are performed using the lowest latency binsplit that is available for PC133. As a result, the rmbs detractors are going to point you to the chipset benchmarks, and to hobby review sites that have access to the low latency PC133 parts.

Meanwhile, the "as purchased" system benchmarks show the advantage goes to rmbs.

Too bad they had to use a processor which is no longer being manufactured. "The original Athlon-512k cache"

Maybe ZDNet could scrape up some old Katmai's and run a few benchmarks against Thunderbirds?
