I suspect semis will be up on the MSDW position and the economic news. And that will drag aware along on continued low volume in the short term. Neal

From Sthephens :

Aware (AWRE; BUY; Price-$45.44; Target-$71) Aware's largest customer, Analog Devices (ADI-$82.88), raised its internal estimate of the number of DSL chips it would sell this year to 7 million from 6 million. We calculate this could add $0.04-$0.06 to AWRE's EPS for 2000. Another positive factor for AWRE is that both telecom companies in South Korea are rolling out DSL on a large scale and that both
use chips that carry Aware's software. A similar situation is occurring in Hong Kong. At this point we are not revising our earnings estimates, but we believe there is meaningful upside to the 2000 numbers.
