Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices (ADI US) was raised to ''strong buy'' from ''buy'' by analyst Cody G Acree at Frost Securities Inc. The price target was raised to $129 from $100 per share.

BTW, Cody has a $190 price target on TXN. I challenge anyone to explain his rationale using facts, figures and comparible metrics. Cody, you're a hand-puppet!

Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices (ADI US) was reiterated ''strong buy'' by analyst Lucas Ward at Chase H&Q. The 12-month target price is $110.00 per share.

Our friend, Lucas, has been issuing monthly BUY reiterations on TXN during it's recent decline. No price target from this political animal. Still, he thinks ADI deserves a price below its PEG ratio. You da man!, Luke.

Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices (ADI US) was reiterated ''buy'' by analyst David Wu at ABN Amro. The 12-month price target was raised to $120 from $110 per share.

Our beloved David reiterated his BUY and $110 target on ADI just three days ago. ADI hits him with a blowout Q and raises guidance by 25% for the current Q (from .41 to .50), sets a minimum bar for next year at 45% growth, and so...he's inclined to hoist his 12 month target by 9%. Good job, Dave! Time for a new abacus?

Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices ADI US) was reiterated ''buy'' by analyst Charles F Boucher at Bear, Stearns & Co.

In May, Boucher set a $118 target. I think he's still thinking about his new price projections, which begs the question, are there any real men on Wall Street?

Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices (ADI US) was reiterated near-term ''accumulate'' by analyst Joseph A Osha at Merrill Lynch. The long-term rating was reiterated ''buy.'' Earnings estimates: Period Previous estimate New estimate per share (USD) FY 2000 1.32 1.49

I love this guy! Osha (isn't that a gov't agency?) can only muster an accumulate for this white-hot company. Can you say "political animal more concerned about his hollywood image?" Fine work, Joe, let us know when the long-term BUY kicks in, OK? BTW, Joe has a near-term Buy on slower growing TXN.

Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 16 (Bloomberg Data) -- Analog Devices (ADI US) was reiterated ''buy'' by analyst Daniel A Morgan at Noble Financial Group.

WHO??

Memo to Dan: If you'd like to make a name for yourself and Noble Financial Group, you'll have to do better. Take a chance, dude, issue a target!

More later, I'm sure.
