I love good Kohlrabi..... but not so easy to get in the stores...
so we grow it here most years...
Really nice when it is young,
but can turn into wood inside if you leave it too long in the garden when the weather is hot.

I love it cut up into sticks to eat raw,
but love it even more in soup or stews...
just adds a special taste to everything...
mmmmm.....

btw, thanks for the notes on how you do okra...
I like okra, but use it mainly in hot middle-eastern recipes.
love squash too...well, actually I love just about anything that grows....

....except for......CILANTRO!!! (o:
