Watch the G* bonds, I haven't done the work on them,but they could be the equivalent of the old "capital notes" which were, in effect, bonds whose sole collateral was the "capital stock" or equity of the company. If the co. is underwater, as most are when the go BK, your recovery rights are nil. If the G* bonds are secured or even unsecured against the company itself (it's a subtle difference, but an important one) you are in better stead ahead of the GSTRF common.

Does anyone have a site where propsectuses of already issued bonds are on line? That would greatly help the research process.
