Tench, Unexpected High demand? That doesn't fly with me.

Just admit Intel's having binsplit problems. All the major Companies in town don't have high speed Piii's and neither to the retail chains. That's allot of evidence IMO

AMD having 55.1% of retail laptop in June is another.

Intel is very good at paper launches. While AMD is delivering the goods.

FYI, I believe that NTAP's soon-to-be-announced high end filer (F840) uses CuMine processor, rather than Alpha that was in its successor, the F760.

The F840 will become the midrange of the product line with an F860 and F830 on either side, I speculate.
