Just no rational fundamental reason for AMD to be at these "underwater" prices...AMD has met their very formadible corporate budget plan with flying colours over the past 3 quarters and nothing in the foreseeable future suggests that the very formidable (and highly profitable, if realized) targets of 3.6 and 7.2 million Athys in Q3 and Q4 respectively won't be realized...AMD is reducing debt at a very fast pace (only one year ago, they seemed hopelessly in debt), now paying taxes, owing to (obscene?)profitability, probably a year before anyone drempt possible
aand currently experiencing outstanding binsplits at 950 Mhz and above...AMD owns the top end and with the Duron are about to take ownership of the mid and low ends...AMD's product lines (flash and microprocessor) have never been stronger and in AMD has never been in a stronger position ((i.e world's best price/performance processsor at all llevels and world's leading flash producer) relative to its competitors...Just can't identify a more undervalued company in the marketplace!!! The market will correct this anomaly, shortly I think!)
