well, for one thing they have begun raising rates - while that's largely a symbolic gesture at this time, it's also a sign that the incentive to export capital is lessening. secondly, i'm beginning to think that they may be realizing that it's better for their economy if capital flowed the other way. and then there are of course the BoJ's massive dollar reserves...at some point they will be tempted to diversify.
