FT, I am having a problem with the logic of a situation. Maybe you can help me on it, but I doubt if you will. According to what I have seen, and heard, I can go to the corner of Main, and Elm, Any City, U.S.A., stand on my head, and say that I have "Faith" that there is a living God. All of a sudden I am treated as if I had committed some crime against the State, am vilified in the media, called a radical fundamentalist, religious right, or a detractor of the civil rights of all the citizens of the nation. Now, I can go to that same street corner, stand on the same pointy head, and say, I have "Faith" that there is not a living God. Not only am I not in trouble with the law, I am hailed as a hero of the downtrodden, an upstanding citizen of the community, defender of the Constitution, and given the key to the city, among other gratuitous gifts. In both cases I have said that I have "Faith". I see no logic in the difference of treatment for saying the same thing. Instead of logic, I see bigotry of the worst kind. I see intolerance of what one might believe. I see a community in deep trouble with values. Where is the logic in this? ~;=;o --haqi
