Apples and oranges - Corel's revenue in the 'Linuxspace' is miniscule and declining. Their main revenue streams are from, as we all know, aging products in decaying markets. Heck, look at Microsoft stock to see how compelling the apps market is right now.

Corel is a dying cash cow business with a Linux business that might drive the company's future. The other two are pure Linux businesses. The cash generation is not necessarily a bad thing....except that it isn't generating enough cash.

I can see a bounce, especially with the sudden uptick in the Linux market, but let's keep in mind that i) Corel's share in Linux was declining, and ii) they are on the outside looking in on a major movement(GNOME support). StarOffice backed by HP as well as Sun might be enough to finish off WP for Linux.

I am having to rethink a lot of my opinions on Corel, in that I had fully expected to see Cowpland dragged out of the building kicking and screaming by the new tenants on Carling.. it might be too late, but at it least it gives the board a chance.
