Oh...I have reposted the earlier points but left out the offensive term (BS). Since you "blanked out" the arguement about protected status being based on economic disparity, perhaps you can now deal with it. You said, "Gays have been oppressed under the same exclusionary atmosphere and are still excluded in some areas." My response was, "The primary indicator for protected status in this country has always been economic. The information that I have is that Gays are doing quite well economically. Who is Gay and who is not, is none of my business. The only reason to make it my business is to push a political agenda or to seek validation." Since I am not a redneck from the deep South and have never met one, perhaps you can get back to the substance of this dialog?
