In the July Scientific American, there is evidence that there were more subatomic particles than our current theories predict as evidenced by the texture in the 4 deg K background radiation. This was 300,000 years AB (After Bang). I hate when I get quarks in my proto-universe.

If they polled me, I'd vote to change the Christian calendar into a universal calendar with the Big Bang at year 0. This eliminates the need for "before" dates. We have to figure out a more reasonable way to write it otherwise we'll all be sounding like Capt. Kirk. The basic unit would be the Planck time. And all with built in Pauli Exclusion excuses.

Honey, I'll be mostly home in 5 x 10e49 Plancks.

Sorry, I couldn't wash the dishes : it was a disallowed state, Dear.
