It is a Clinton solution. I am surprised you embrace it. (No pun intended.)

Actually "don't ask, don't tell" is a ridiculous policy. It allows a group of people to live in deceit. Trust is a necessary ingredient in a cohesive unit. And regardless of what the politically correct try to tell us, homosexuality(h's) is an immoral act that many people find intolerable. They don't trust the homo's and many good people are leaving the service. The Clinton administration along with the higher brass who refuse to stick up for the troops has demoralized the Armed Forces. Regardless of what GEN Shelton says, the military is not prepared to meet its commitments. Unfortunately, the higher brass now prefers to play lapdog to the commander in chief rather than take care of their troops. I disagree with Bush on the don't ask, don't tell policy, but what is the alternative? I'll vote for him and hope he follows the platform which states that h's is incompatible with military service.
