I've started a Gary on Optics file YIKE!! now I'm on record... Yes indeed - A's PE looks great. Remember however that A derives much of their revenue from test a measurement. Last I checked the breakdown was: 60% - Test and Measurement 20% - Semiconductor 10% - Healthcare solutions 10% - Chemical Analysis The optics business is currently run under the semiconductor group - I'm not sure how much of this number is optical components but my guess is that today it's a pretty small number. That all said - as you know - it's optics baby! ;) Can A turn this into a signficant business. Do they have the focus? Don't know. OG
