@Home is for residential use, @Work is for commercial use it is understandable that you cannot use something that is designed for residential use in a business. This is not to say that some people will not get away with using the residential service in their business, but they shouldn't be. For years I had a residential phone line in my business because I didn't know that there is a completely different pricing plan for businesses.

I know now, boy do I.

How did you reach that conclusion? The article has nothing to do with what you imply. It has to do with bandwidth hogs. Hacks running VPNs avoid paying for the bandwidth and slow the Net for others. That's a form of theft. I support Comcast and @Home in their efforts to eliminate these bums. They have no business trying to steal from me. If I catch somebody doing that, they are in big trouble WITH ME.
