You've been cheated!
When I got married I got many government rights. My wife and I get power of attorney privledges for each other without having to fill out special paperwork. We get the right to not testify against each other, and survivorship benefits to property and pensions.

I got non-government rights too, such as the right to insurance at favorable rates and a reduction in car insurance. Not to mention a can't lose date on New Year's.

I have found what I sought and am building richly upon it. It is you who are still floundering in dead alleys mesmerized by the show the Wizards put on in Oz (Washington). Perhaps one day you will decide to pull back their tattered curtain...
