<<Have an appointment for my semi-annual physical on September 6, looking forward to seeing what this new diet does to my cholesterol and triglycerides. Atkins claims it will go down. >>

Funny how eating more cholesterol can drop the levels in some people. One theory is skipping the carbs does something with the insulin. Another is if you are thinner, that does the trick. Friend Mike is skinny as a rail and is 300+ on his cholesterol even with diet and medication.

Leaving the cork in the bottle helps the triglycerides. Alcohol is converted to triglycerides before it is eliminated. Then again alcohol helps lower cholesterol. Go figure.

Edit. Good luck on your diet. You should be looking good in your party dress on the 30th.
