You continue to assume that most people run businesses which is absolutely false. Our property and sales taxes pay for the municipal agencies. I find it hard to consider paying for municipal centers and arenas to be good for the people. Thankfully, most of us never have to deal with the police and fire departments. I don't downplay their importance, but I don't believe we get our moneys worth from the criminal justice system. It is so corrupted that most criminals act with impunity, despite the increase in prison and jail population. We murder more people every three years than the total number of soldiers killed during the Vietnam conflict. That doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy for the use of my tax dollars or the efforts to take my gun ownership rights away. The statistics are available on government websites. They do provide some pretty good statistics as a result of the $1.7 trillion dollars of our money they spend each year.knc
