Well done, Mark. Nice port, too. Thanks for your incredible contributions. . . which benefit us all. To all. . . .For the sake of clarity: My reference to Manipulation was in regards to sites where Blind Sheep sit and wait for a Shepherd Guru to make a call. . . . "Short-sell WXYZ at 19 13/16 quarter position. . .cover at 19 1/8 1/8th position. . .reload at 11/16. . . Box-in at 19 1/4 by 19". . . etc. . . and as the calls come the flocks follow the instructions to the letter. . . emulating their shepherd into whatever play is called. . . and causing the stock to succumb to the orchestrated trading patterns that were prescribed by the Shepherd Conductor. Such "Concerted" plays are mentioned specifically in SEC Regulations as violations. What we do on the HOME thread is entirely different. After the fact, one person might post "shorted WXYZ at 19 13/16" . . . but not FOR THE PURPOSE of leading a flock into the very same trade or conducting a concerted effort to box-in a stock or use other such manipulative tools. . . .but rather we post simply for a frame of reference. . . with the understanding that everyone here at HOME selects their own plays and points of trade. Therefore, a proper response might be. . . "Yes, I shorted their competition, ABCD at 27 1/2 in sympathy" . . . this information gives everyone the SENTIMENT of the thread. . .from which they can decide for themselves whether or not to hold ABCD and WXYZ long. . .to turn short as well. . .to sell. . .or to ignore it altogether and make an entirely different play. Posting our trades is fine. . . .announcing that we are "piling on" a short squeeze. . . is even OK. . . anymore, Short-Squeezes are "announced" on CNBC. For the sake of argument. . . however, if one person in a chat room or other such board were to say, "URAQT is getting shorted hard, when it hits 17 1/8. . .pound it with market orders at 17 1/4, then keep on buying to force a short-squeeze over 18." . . . . that too would be an illegal concerted manipulation. So. . . .as far as we are concerned here at HOME. . . . we have nothing to worry about. Believe me, if I were to see something that resembled such a violation. . . I'd jump all over it. And "Cannibalism" is very easy to spot. Speaking of which. . . . . .Nothing wears me out quicker than having to go on the offensive, flame, attack or otherwise . . against someone that has an agenda that is not in the best interest of the HOME thread. Not sure why that is but man, is it tiresome! That is why I may appear to nip things in the bud, before the bud is even visible. That method has worked quite well here in keeping out the rif-raf in the longer-term. Now watch this post bring hecklers out of the woodwork! Puh-leese!! Rande Is
