I probably read the "Ask Michael Burke" or "Clowns" threads 'too much' so I get a different perspective on the government numbers. I think the government is lying about most everything these days... as if it were ever any different....

Although I agree with Andy's assertion that any Gov't numbers are suspect, I disagree with his assessment of the market. The one area you pointed out that Dems try to rally on is the job market. Many folks work multiple jobs just to get by, not to get ahead. There are a lot of people doing well, but for the most part the liberal social policies have failed most people they were designed to help. Now, MSFT is being hurt by the DOJ temporarily, and possibly, permanently, depending on the outcome of the case. I have made hefty profits off MSFT and will hold on, but I don't look for much improvement in the short term.knc
