Tony, that's not a fab plant but an assembly and test site for Flash chips. That 226 million unit number is just a part of what Flash Intel will be producing in 2004. With Flash, Processors, chipsets, embedded processors, StrongArm, IXP and the like, Intel will be producing something approaching 1 Billion units a year. Truly staggering!

Also, as far as the number of people involved, it depends on whether they are running 24x7 on compressed workweek. That would take 4 shifts of people. The automation levels may also not be as high as Fab requirements.
