Blue, I don't know whether Denise (my daughter-in-law) has polycystic ovaries, but she did have ONE ovarian cyst, which was discovered during a hernia operation (a former gymnast, after all), and surgically removed. She is only 26, and could possibly develop some more. She hasn't even tried to have children yet: first she wants to finish off her PhD, and then to get settled in her career. Makes sense.

Is there some sort of connection between polycystic ovaries and insulin resistance?
