Hi Paul, again sorry for being so long in responding. I still have an e-mail of yours to respond to and I apologize for the delay. You are right that I am not a big proponent of technical analysis. I make all my position decisions on fundamentals alone. However once I establish a view and a desire to take a position I find t/a very useful for timing and setting stops. Often I am looking to take positions for reasons that are not a market focus yet. So I'm looking for a catalyst to help identify when the market focus starts moving my way. T/a is useful for that. So I do agree that it is very useful for short term trading. I look forward to hearing more about the new system you are working on. Henry
