Do you know if NTAP does deferred earnings, a la MSFT, to downplay excessively good results? Sure seems that way -- or perhaps NTAP's quarterly profit is more predictable than that of other tech companies.

Blowout Quarters

DS, I couldn't agree more that it doesn't mean a thing. NTAP has provided consistently good guidance and most importantly RESULTS quarter after quarter. They do what they say they'll do. What more could we ask for. Blowout quarters and upside surprises seem to be part of the twisted lottery mentality that is affecting the market short term. NTAP is one golden egg that I think I'll just sit on thank you.
