NYSE members are sitting on a fair bit of inventory...i'm sure they will begin to distribute into the rally. that said, they have bought so much lately that i can't imagine them not expecting a big rally...it contradicts the commercials spoo short position completely.

Why do you say that Les? I would think that if there were any doubt about the Fed standing aside, or even just to show the proper reverance, that a subdued market would be the way to go.

Maybe if it got bad enough Al would lower rates. <g>
