I agree, looks like we are hitting the credit wall

The dollar is indicating that the world isnt going to continue financing the US markets until they see some payback on the debt.

Gold derivatives are a problem here. Shorted GS and JPM today for a few points and will reconsider again tomorrow. I think they may be short a little gold <g>

Allan, the DOW is not the market, the NAZ and SPX are more reflecting the market.

Only if T, S, CAT, DD, IP, HON etc. will get to a reasonable P/E of 15 to 18 you get over a 1000 DJIA points but no more than 10 to 15 point in the SPX.
