Ausdauer, no one replied to my earlier query concerning Fidelity's holdings but the very next day Edgar indicated that Fidelity had cut its SNDK holdings from ~5M shares to ~3M shares.

Looks to me like Vinik and his old friends at Fidelity moved on the same path as SEG and dumped a whole lot of SNDK shares. Kinda makes you want to play golf with that foursome ...

Anyone care to homework this one and report the details?

Craig

flash longevity

If you are unsure about the longevity of flash, just look at the SanDisk Compact Flash card guarantee.

Aus, I never said I was unsure about the longevity of flash. If you look at my post, I said just the opposite!

Here is what I said: "In fact I was under the impression that flash cards were just the opposite, that they would, for all practical purposes, last a lifetime. "

I am well aware that Sandisk has an excellent guarantee on their cards.

Good grief, I asked a question about a post from Wily, and he answered it very well (thanks Wily.) I never mentioned the sacred word of Sandisk.

I wouldn't worry so much about FUD, but one thing is for sure:

RAMPANT PARANOIA IS ALIVE AND WELL ON THE SANDISK THREAD!

Some of you need to chill out and stop reading something into every post that doesn't start and end with a statement that Sandisk is the second coming of Christ in a flash.

Take a few days off and chill out, Sandisk will still be here when you get back.

I still have SNDK shares that I bought in 1998 cheap! I don't remember giving up my right to free speech when I bought 'em.

This thread is starting to remind me of Spencer Tracy in "Inherit the Wind"

"Brady, Brady, Brady, the world according to Brady."

HE is coming back to earth in a flash - Sandisk flash, of course.
